The Blog about Nothing

I remember watching a Jerry Seinfeld repeat some time back in which he referred to his show as ‘a show about nothing’.

I’m growing to think that this is a blog about nothing. It has no structure, no continuity, and nothing really worth reading. I could make a page of Paige’s recipes but who would read about 50 ways to make Baked Beans on Toast?

I am astounded by my ability to easily fill 250 A4 pages of manuscript about crime and mystery, yet when it comes to relaying snippets of a day’s activities, well, I am left dry. And I am one who objects to the term: writer’s block!

So I have decided that from my next post, I am going to tackle contentious subjects. I might ruffle feathers (an art I need make no effort to achieve). I might lose readers, but when my site count is so low, I don’t think I will suffer an economic loss, as would, say, Sir Richard Branson, who, incidentally, will be the topic of my next, and first, contentious blog.

Paige Elizabeth Turner
Paige writes across a variety of genres, but prefers to concentrate on her crime / mystery series featuring Private Investigator Olivia Watts and her Watts Happening? Investigations agency. Also dabbling in poetry, Paige produces emotive verse from romance through to environmental issues. Writing is her lifeblood, but as experienced by many writers, there’s a shortfall of financial nutrients feeding the blood.
